HI ALL
CAN ANY BODY GUIDE ME TO COMPILE BOOTSPLASH SCREEN IN LINUX KERNEL 2.6.X AND 2.4.X.
I HAVE DOWNLOADED PATCHES FOR BOTH THE KERNELS .THEY PATCHED SUCCESSFULLY BUT COULD NOT COMPILED SUCCESSFULLY.
I ALSO DISABLE BOOTUP LOGO AND ENABLE BOOT SPLASH SCREEN.
PLEASE TELL ME THE STEP BY STEP PROEDURE AND RESOURCES RELATED TO ITSO THAT I CAN TAKE A LOT OF GRAPHICS AS IN MICROSOFT BOOTUP LOGO.

You didn't say if you were using bootsplash (from the SuSE team) or gensplash (from the Gentoo team). The links above apply to the more common bootsplash. If you're using or wish to try, the gensplash package, these links will be more helpful:-
